Prepaid Mobiles: For All The Family

What would most people do today without a mobile cell phone? Most of them would be utterly lost, and even those that don’t consider it a necessity will be quick to admit that it is nevertheless one of modern life’s bigger comforts. Still, prices can be quite steep.

Prepaid mobiles are a great way to be in control of costs and to keep abreast of your telephony tab. Also known as Pay As You Go subscriptions, prepaid subscriptions offer great flexibility and the possibility to always know how much you have been spending, thanks to their recharge function.

Most European carriers have been offering prepaid mobile for a long time, while the United States and the rest of the world caught up in the last few years. Nowadays there are very few mobile operators left that do not have a series of prepaid plans amongst their offering.

You will find that with a prepaid mobile, you will also not be limited to antiquated devices anymore, as it used to be. Even multimedia devices that take high-resolution pictures and videos, or mobile office-enabled handsets can be bought with a prepaid mobile subscription.

While it is true that the handsets themselves seem to have a lower price when bought with a regular contract, this is actually a marketing ploy to lie in the customers. In reality, you will then be bound to a one or two year contract that will ultimately cost you more than the original saving on the phones. The flexibility of prepaid mobile on the other hand means that you will just pay for the services that you used.

Some people are put off by having to recharge their phones once their credit runs out, but in reality this is a minor issue as recharging has become easy and hassle-free. Nowadays you can recharge over the internet, by buying a card at convenience stores and supermarkets, and also via the phone itself, even if you have no credit left. You can even set up the phone to recharge automatically, just by sending a text message.

Don’t worry about not being reachable if your phone is out of credit though, you will still be reachable by inbound calls. Prepaid mobile just means that to call or text, you will have to have credit on the card.

Also, prepaid cards nowadays offer lots of extra incentives that allow you to tailor your service to your exact usage. Whether you need longer calling times, affordable long-distance calls, cheap-as-dirt text messages or an internet-enabled device, these are all available options.

Prepaid mobiles are truly for everyone, whether young or old, male or female, in work or not, with or without kids. Check what is available from operators in your area and you are bound to find a prepaid mobile offer which is just right for you.

What I expect from my mobile phone

When you have chosen your network provider it can be a royal pain in the proverbial sifting through all the handsets available. The media is everywhere telling you which phone you should have. Magazines, high street billboards and signs, radio advertising, television commercials. And of course your friends are always there with the reasons why THEIR mobile phone is the best there is because it has the latest cool ring tone on it.

The main thing is to decide what you want the most from your contract phones. This means (and this if important) what you rely on it for the most. The secondary elements of choice are what you desire the phone to do.

This is my list of what I expect from my mobile phone:

  1. Make and receive calls (obviously!)
  2. Receive and send texts/MMS
  3. Access the WWW…ok I’ll settle for facebook
  4. Take some stunning photos (on drunken nights out which can be posted to facebook with the main purpose of embarrasing your friends)
  5. Not find extra charges on my bill for doing all the above
  6. Not call people by accident when I’m in my car privately singing (badly) to (bad) songs on the radio
  7. Not resemble a brick
  8. Not resemble a credit card
  9. Not require re-charging after a half hour phone call

My ‘wish list’ of preferences for my mobile phone is to be able to watch amusing Google videos. But that said I wouldn’t sacrifice my essentials to be able to do those and wouldn’t pay the earth for them either. I have a computer at home and to be honest watching catch up TV on my phone when I’m at the pub with friends wouldn’t go down too well.

There are several good mobile phone handsets looking around and to be honest it is the leading providers that I prefer to use if only for their wide range of handsets. But they also provide the best service when it comes down to it and they do have the best and most efficient customer care (although some people’s experiences may beg to differ!). So the top mobile phone providers on my list are:

3 mobile – Get the latest 3G mobiles, the best in mobile content and services such as mobile internet, music downloads and mobile TV, and connect to the Internet with Mobile broadband.

Nokia – Wide range of mobile phone handsets and monthly contract deals and of course the full range of Nokia handsets the moment they come onto the market.

Review of new Nokia 3250 XpressMusic Silver

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Blue free line rental

The Nokia 5800 blue has got a 3.2 inch touch screen and the latest S60 interface, especially adapted for touch control. As the XpressMusic name suggests, this is a fancy music phone. Supporting microSD cards up to 16GB there’s plenty of storage for music and picture files. There’s an accelerometer, a standard 3.5mm earphone jack, FM radio and a TV out port for viewing videos or playing the built-in games on your big screen.

The camera on the Nokia has 3.2 megapixels and It has too many convenient and important features to ever be unimportant. This might not be all-out impressive but it has a high quality Carl Zeiss and that makes all the difference. Photographs , must warn you if there were limits on this phone. The internal web browser is excellent. I see the main problem for most people is that they do not even know they can get a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic deal.

The Nokia 5710 XpressMusic Black has 3G, HSDPA and Wi-Fi. There’s also a built-in GPS receiver and a special touch screen version of Nokia Maps is pre-installed. Don’t forget it’s also a cellphone! The on-screen numerical keypad makes dialling easy and there’s a option of on-screen QWERTY keyboards or script recognition for text input.

This can be one of the easiest ways to get Nokia 5800 XpressMusic silver deal to be lost in the shuffle. Phone is hip and edgy. I have yet to hear a defense of Nokia 5800 red5800 deal based on reason or logic. Inherently, Xpress silver5800 mobile phones takes precedent over Xpress red deal. Xpress blue5800 prices provides more proof that I’m right.

02,voda,orange loads great free phone deals Clearly it takes hours and hours to develop Nokia red mobile phones. Some may be objectionable. Once again it depends on how your Nokia with music mobile phones is already organized. And what was up with Nokia 5800 mobiles.

Mobile Bliss : Making Sure You Buy the Right Mobile Phone

Mobile phones have moved from a luxury to an essential tool for most owners. Especially in case of emergencies, a mobile phone handy will allow you to do calls or send text messages instantly. However, choosing the right mobile phone can be a real uphill battle for a lot of people. Mobile phones come with just about every bell and whistle you can think of. Many features and add-ons to phones are simply not needed or used by the owner.

Step one when buying a phone is to consider all the things you need to have your phone be able to do. Are you after a high tech phone with touch screen features or are you just going to use it to make calls and send text messages? If you are only using your phone for business calls or not very often, you may not get decent value for money out of a flashy mobile. You can go for a basic handset that is user-friendly.In the other category, there are some users who use and need the extra functionality of a high tech mobile. Ultimately the deciding factor should be what features you would personally use in a mobile phone.

Was there ever a time that you forgot to bring your digital camera or your video recorder with you, and you were not able to capture some memorable moments with your loved ones? Or have you been away from a computer and needed to send an urgent email to your boss? The large range of extra features can come in handy on a number of occasions. While the prices will increase with the more features that are added, some can really add to the experience and usefulness of the phone. The most common features are Bluetooth, radio, mp3 player and Internet browsing. As you can see, there are a number of things that not everyone will use, which is why its important to think about the features that you will actually utilize in your day to day phone usage.

Your next task is to look at mobile phone call plans. If you make regular calls, you will want to consider going on a contract as the rates are more likely to be lower. Most fixed term contracts last for a year, some longer depending on the plan. The other option if you do not make regular calls or are on a budget is to go for the prepaid option. This plan is also advisable to give for youngsters to discipline them with their phone usage.

Once you have found your perfect mobile, its a great idea to drop by a local mobile dealer to look at the phone in person. Stores on Ebay are also a great place to find some great deals on phones. Some buyers choose to browse online to see what is available as online stores can be quite competitive with range and price.

When buying your phone, it is essential that it goes with your needs, and most importantly it comfortable to use and are durable at the same time.
