What I Use When I Go Carp Fishing

When I go carp fishing I know it is not cheap to purchase the permit to let me to fish on one of the hotter carp lakes. It is understandable really as many of these fish cost over a few hundred pounds to stock in the first place.
Thus if and when I do manage to get a bite I need to feel assured that the tackle I am employing is up to the business of landing one of these muscular underwater missiles. I do not want to be heading home thinking if only I had!

So I opt for a Greys carp rod it has everything I am looking for in a light yet strong carp rod. It has never let me down yet and constructed to last .If you go down the path of buying the cheapest you can you will only end up seeing it fail under pressure and probably when you have a personal best on. Besides with the cheaper rods they do incline to be a lot heavier and at first this might not be too big of a deal but as the session wears on your arms will start to discover it.

I will match that with a Shimano Baitrunner Carp Reel can not be beat in my view. Wonderful gearing and a really smooth action when you require to really crank up the pressure as the carp is heading for weeds this is the one for you it actually does come into its own.

With the right reel line and correct sharp hooks all my tackle is ideal for the job at hand .So essentially it is down to me no excuses if the fish gets off it is my mistake no one else’s.I tend to buy almost all of my tackle here at the Cheapest Total Fishing Gear Site as I have found the costs to be some of the best around and with free next day delivery
